DESCRIPTION
The Allo Quebec chapter was established in 2000. Our chapter name means "Hello Quebec" in French. We say Bienvenue - Welcome to all francophones and francophiles. Join the Allo Quebec chapter to enrich your life with new friendships and enjoy the joie de vivre. That said, you don't have to live in Quebec or speak French to join, but proceedings are mainly in French. Efforts are made to ensure that RVers who speak only English are able to follow and have fun. We often welcome these brave souls to our rallies, and they always have a good time in spite of the language difference. The Allo Quebec chapter meets twice a year, in June and September, with Rallies running from Thursday through Sunday. Virtually all of them are held in full-service campgrounds and include catered meals and lots of fun and games, as well as an evening of dancing. No need to be a member of Allo Quebec to attend. We'd love to have you join us. And as a matter of fact, you may have already met some of us if you've attended the FMCA NorthEast Area Rally. Every year, Allo Quebec members volunteer to drive the golf carts that shuttle guests around the rally site.

Empire became an offspring to the Mother Northeast Chapter making Empire the First FMCA Chapter in New York State. The Charter was received from FMCA at the Burlington Vermont convention with a membership totaling 107 members as of August 1972. Back then it cost 8 cents to mail a newsletter. Now with modern technology everyone keeps up to date via email with snail mail as requested. We from the beginning have dry camped in snowy weather sometimes and other times have full hookup sites with wifi and wonderful weather. How times have changed. But one thing has not, Empire Families love getting together and having fun and sharing there adventures with family-friends- children-and grandchildren. The first weekend in May starts our season with the hosts picking and planning where they want to go, and what the weekend will consist of. Usually two families work together. But it always ends up everyone pitches in. The first weekend in October is the close of camping for us, It's our annual banquet and election of officer's for the coming year. July 2002 we celebrated 30 years - 48 coaches present and 104 people. Our motto: Family and Friends Having Fun. Join Us.

The Frustrated Maestros Northeast - Yankee Doodle Dandies (YDD's for short) are a group of FMCA members who love to make music and entertain our fellow rally-goers. We play and sing during the morning coffee hour and at various other venues at area rallies and FMCA conventions. Our performers range from "shower singers" to retired band directors and symphony orchestra players. Although some of our members are former professionals, we are NOT a "professional" group. There's no audition! Our chief aim is to have fun with our music, and draw our audience into our enjoyment of what we are doing. Besides the main band and chorus, there are performance opportunities in other groups, such as the Jazz Band and the Dixieland Band. There are also solo and small group opportunities for both instrumentalists and vocalists. Do you have a musical instrument packed away at home or in the coach? Do you like to sing at church or in the shower? Have you performed musically with local theater groups? If so, please come and chat with one of us at our next rally. We are easily recognizable in our red and whites! YDD's who spend the winter in Florida are always encouraged to participate in the Brooksville rally in February, and in the Perry, GA, convention as well, during the years that it is held. If cross-country travel should be in your plans for the coming year, keep in mind that YDD members are always welcome to participate with any of the other Maestro chapters in their area rallies. Dig that high school band instrument out of the closet, pull the keyboard, the guitar, or the banjo out of the coach storage bay, warm up those vocal cords, and COME JOIN US!

Knot Fore Busses Only Chapter - Established 1983, Formerly named For Busses Only, this chapter was chartered on 12/15/83. In the early days, all of the members owned converted buses, which eventually were called Motor Coaches. This common interest in converted buses was the basis for the formation of this FMCA chapter. In January 1997, the name was changed to Knot Fore Busses Only, since many of the original members were retiring their old buses and replacing them with RV's. Today, KFBO still has eight members who own bus conversions, and we are still attracting new members who travel in converted Motor Coaches. We presently have 32 member coaches. Our rally season runs April-October. We try to hold a rally once per month (usually at a campground) but many times we dry camp. We enjoy festivals, flea markets, auto racing, antiquing, etc. We publish a monthly newsletter to keep you informed. We are a great mix of people who have come from all walks of life. We are presently looking for new members who will participate in the continued success of the chapter. Please join us at any rally so you can meet and greet our members. Our annual dues for membership are $10.00 and we also ask that you submit 10 pre-addressed, stamped envelopes to the newsletter editor for the mailing of your monthly newsletter, unless you can provide an email address. Thanks for your interest. Happy trails!

Maine Wheels was formed 35 years ago to focus on the Maine lifestyle with like-minded RVers who share the love of exploration, interests and comradery in the great Maine outdoors. While our focus is Maine we welcome FMCA members from other states and provinces to join with us. We normally plan 4 to 5 Rallies a year, mostly held somewhere in Maine. Our group interests and activities are as varied as our membership. A volunteer Host selects the location and plans the activities. Locations are chosen that offer a myriad of things to do and see. This makes for a rich Maine experience, including local events, celebrations, festivals and out of the way treasures, sometimes known only by the members that live close by. Rallies are structured to include time for both group and individual activities. After a busy day, we all meet back at the campground to share stories and adventures around the campfire.

On June 29, 1996 Scotian Roamers received its formal Chapter certification from FMCA making the Chapter part of the Northeastern Area of FMCA. Under the guidance of Donald Langille in May 1996, a group of 40 FMCA members signed the petition to form the Scotian Roamers Chapter. Donald Langille went on to become the Chapter's first President. Many of those original members are still active in the Chapter today. Array Scotian Roamers draws its membership from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick, as well as members from Maine and New Hampshire. The club has several rallies a year; the first one of the season is usually in June at which time the Chapter Annual meeting is held. This allows all of our travelling members to arrive home from their adventures, which are shared with the Chapter at our happy hours and meals that weekend. Array Our Chapter is comprised of members from all walks of life, bringing their love of the outdoors, travelling in their motorhomes, and the desire to be around others who share their passions. Scotian Roamers are a dynamic, friendly group welcoming all FMCA members to join the Chapter. Array The Scotian Roamers website www.scotianroamers.ca will introduce you to our executive, enable you to view our newsletters, see upcoming rallies and best of all browse pictures of the fun we have as a group. Our rallies range in size from small 20 coach rallies to our signature rally on Labor Day that usually has 100 coaches and families. We join in with two other local chapters, Cape Codders, and Northeastern to co-host three tri -rallies each season. We currently have over two hundred families in our chapter. We have a great group of members who share the joy of motorhoming along with lots of food and fun. Our members have a wealth of knowledge collectively about motor homes and how to keep them running and are willing to share their expertise with others less knowledgeable. We have a charity relief fund that supports both local and national charities which is actively supported by our membership. The main focus of our chapter is friendship, fun, and of course food.
